Useful Storage Solutions for Home Owners (Part 2)

In the previous part we at Wilson Fink Kitchen and Interiors gave home owners four new ideas to improve the storage capacity in their cooking space. If they worked well for you then, here are few more storage solutions for your home that will give it a more neat and clean look.

Rolling Shelf

People who have kitchens with low storage space always struggle to find a place to keep different things. The best advice for such people is that they should get a two-wheel rolling shelf. The tiered shelf will not only give them more room to store things especially odd shaped items and small appliances like toaster, but also serve as an extra countertop whenever or wherever they need it. Given that one day they can use it as a baking station and other day they can use to peel the vegetables and fruits.

Place Kitchen Tools Within Your Reach

Whenever, you will consult an expert about the arrangement of your kitchen they will always advise you to place the things in an order so you would not face any problem in using them. In short, it means that place your kitchen tools like spoons, spatulas and more close to your stove, so they should remain within your reach at all times. It is often seen that people stuff jars with spoons and spatulas but keep it away from the stove rather than placing it in the centre or front. Thus, one should think before placing their regularly used kitchen tools, so they would not have to waste time and energy in grabbing them every time.

Baskets are Forever

Many believe that baskets are now out of fashion, but in actual fact they are immortal and will remain around us till the end, as they are extremely useful when it comes to storing things smartly. Baskets can take the place of bins that many people use in their kitchens to cover dead spaces. And the best way to do so is by installing couple of shelves at such a place. Then, place some baskets over them and you will have a great new storing place for your tools and other stuff.

Hide Appliances

Those days are gone when rarely-used appliances used to block your view or hog your shelves, as today designers like to hide them behind cabinet doors. Thus, now you would not have to keep your microwave, toaster or any other rarely-used appliance at a countertop, as cleaner look is the latest trend. Moreover, it favours you by giving you more free space for other items.
